Enable Biosciences operates out of 3,400 square feet of laboratory and office space in beautiful South San Francisco, “The Birthplace of Biotech.” Our team of scientists, engineers, physicians, and business professionals work hand in hand to bring cutting-edge technologies in predictive medicine to the clinic.

Our lab has 9 benches and a full suite of lab equipment including cold storage, qPCR equipment, centrifuges, and analytical devices to accommodate our clinical and research activities. 

The importance we place on lab safety is evident in the equipment dedicated to protect our researchers; from the usual personal protective equipment (PPE) to biosafety cabinet hoods  in addition to monthly safety meetings, established safety procedures and training, and contract services for the management of hazardous materials and waste.

Our lab is partitioned into two sections:

• The Clinical Reference Laboratory is where we apply our ADAP assay to perform diagnostic tests. We received our CLIA licensure in 2019 and are equipped to perform clinical testing.

• The Research and Development Laboratory explores new disease applications of our ADAP technology and works to improve our existing assays.

AUTOMATION VIA HAMILTON ROBOTICS

Enable Biosciences Clinical Research Laboratory utilizes the power of automation via two Microlab STAR Liquid Handling Systems’. Our machines enable a fully-automated process from sample aliquoting to running of the ADAP assay in a high-throughput manner, increasing our analyzed sample output by several-fold.
